Fundraising Coordinator has responsibility to develop and/or maintain fundraising programmes that ensure the ongoing viability of the organisation.

This position requires enthusiasm, energy, creativity, innovation, imagination and a commitment to high quality productions and presentations.

Duties & Skills:

  • Work within the policies, procedures, philosophies and values of POSAA.
  • as a member of the POSAA team to achieve the aims and objectives of POSAA.
  • Create, lead and manage members of the fundraising team.
  • Fundraising Team (volunteers) and ensure their effective performance.
  • Source, write and submit grant applications.
  • Ensure all promotional, fundraising and other special events meet the expectations of the organisation through effective management, planning, development and evaluation.
  • Maintain appropriate records and undertake other relevant administrative duties including provision of regular program reports.
  • Manage the agreed budgets of the POSAA Committee.
  • Liaise and network with relevant corporate and private sector organisations and individuals to promote the profile of POSAA Services and to increase the support and sponsorships from this sector.
  • Ongoing Development and maintenance of the community engagement, communications and media plan. 
  • Other duties as identified by the Committee.
